Are you welcoming new patients?
Yes, we always welcome new patients of all ages! Please call our office, and we will be happy to schedule a Comprehensive New Patient Exam. If you have current x-rays from another dental office within the past three years, please either email them to us or bring a copy to your initial appointment.
Do you see children at your office?
Yes, we love kids and will be happy to provide dental care to your little ones!
Do you accept MaineCare/Medicare?
We are not contracted with MaineCare/Medicare, so we can not submit to MaineCare/Medicare at this office.
What if I have a dental emergency?
We do everything possible to ensure patients with dental emergencies are seen the same day. This includes both existing patients and patients not yet of record. Please give us a call to speak with one of our friendly front desk associates. We will get a better understanding of what your dental need is, and we will schedule you as quickly as possible.
What should I expect for my initial visit as a new patient?
Your initial visit will consist of a thorough review of medical history, a full-mouth set of digital x-rays, an oral cancer screening, periodontal probing, dental charting, a complete exam by the dentist, and an individualized treatment plan that addresses your unique dental needs. Please call our office with any additional questions you may have about the new patient appointment.
What are payment options for treatment?
Payment for services is expected on the same day as treatment. We complete and submit claims to a wide range of dental insurances, and we also accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept Care Credit- an outside financing source that is similar to a credit card but can only be used for healthcare-related services. For more information about Care Credit or to apply, please call 1-800-365-8295 or visit www.carecredit.com.
Why do I need dental x-rays?
Dental x-rays are very important tools that are used not only to detect cavities, but also to check bone levels and detect abnormalities in the oral cavity. Just because a tooth does not currently cause pain, that does not necessarily mean there is no decay present. Our goal is to catch decay early and prevent a painful emergency visit to the dentist that may result in more extensive and costly treatment.
Where is the office located?
See the Directions page for a map and directions to our location.
Do you offer whitening and other cosmetic procedures?
We offer a wide range of cosmetic procedures including professional teeth whitening and veneers. We would be happy to schedule a free cosmetic consultation with the dentist to go over your options for making your smile the best it can be.
